Latino Film Festival Saskatoon y Edmonton!

Latino Film Festival Saskatoon & Edmonton

Celebrating Our Language, Culture & Roots

A community film celebration honouring Spanish Language Day, Latin American stories, migration, identity, art and the power of cinema to bring people together.

The Latino Film Festival Saskatoon & Edmonton is an initiative created to celebrate the richness of our language, culture and Latin American roots while highlighting the important role of Spanish in the life of Hispanic communities in Canada.

This celebration is connected to the recognition of April 23 as Spanish Language Day. For the past three years, both Saskatoon and Edmonton have joined this national movement through official proclamations that honour the Spanish language and its contribution to Canada’s cultural diversity.

Through film, music, literature, folklore and community gathering, this festival creates a space where stories of migration, resilience, acceptance and identity can be seen, heard and celebrated.
