SKLATAM Latino-Canadian Business Community LTD  was founded in 2020 and incorporated into Saskatchewan Business corporations in 2021.

Since then, we have led multiple initiatives with entrepreneurs and newcomers to improve the well-being of the Latino community and their businesses in Canada.
We are creating an e-learning course for newcomers in Canada along with a Canada-Latin Business directory; Currently, these two programs are developed and running in Saskatoon, SK, and we are working on expanding these services into more cities in Saskatchewan and other provinces. Last September, we organized a remarkable Summer Latin Festival in Saskatoon; In this event, we gathered different Latino businesses to promote their products and services, bringing together the community to enjoy a full day of food and cultural and recreational activities.

Furthermore, one of the latest advances of SK LATAM is participating in Canada’s private sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies, led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
